Four classes, over 80 students, took turns on March 26 and 27 at the production plant in Via del Magazzeno 1944 in Savignano sul Panaro, the historic headquarters of the Pastorelli brand.
The school visit began in the Research and Development laboratory with a brief presentation on the company's structure and history, including a few words on the origins of Sassuolo ceramics.
The theory was immediately followed by a tour of the production site, designed to showcase all the stages of the manufacturing cycle and the distinctive technologies used.
The seventh graders, accompanied by some teachers and two company representatives, Nicola Bursi and Matteo Nicolini, were able to see firsthand, in the true sense of the word, as interactive stations had been set up, the results of the various production processes that lead to the production of porcelain stoneware tiles and ceramic slabs of unique dimensions.
At the end of the visit, everyone was amazed, especially at the sight of such large slabs and three-dimensional surfaces created using Dinamika technology. The students were given a personalized tile as a souvenir of their day spent among state-of-the-art machinery, clay, and atomizers.
